Description

The first ever dramatic film about Asian American youth, and the impetus for the first SAAFF in 1985. Set in the 1970’s, in a Seattle so different yet so familiar, Dan Inagaki and his friends cruise through life after high schooladulthood looming closer than anyone would like.

Director/writer/actor Ken Mochizuki is scheduled to attend.


Director's Bio

Ken Mochizuki is an actor, print journalist, and free-lance writer. In 2002, he published the novel version of BEACON HILL BOYS. Bill Blauvelt was the Programming Director of the original incarnation of the Seattle Asian American Film Festival in 1987. Dean Hayasaka works in Hollywood as a cinematographer and in various roles in the lighting and camera department.
