2014 Seattle Asian American Film Festival

SAAFF 2014 Ticketing FAQ

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets to our opening night feature, Linsanity, which include entry to the opening night party down the street at Columbia City Theater are $13. Students and seniors are $10.

Aside from opening night, and our Contemporary Shorts, War Doc Shorts and Narrative and Animated Shorts sessions (which are FREE), screenings are $11 regular/$8 students and seniors with ID.

A full festival pass gets you into all film sessions (except for the VIP party) and costs $75. They are non-transferrable.

How do I find the schedule of films and their descriptions?

The schedule is available on our website, where you can also purchase tickets online and watch trailers. A printed version of our program will be published in the January 15th issue of the International Examiner. The printed program will also be available at the Ark Lodge Cinemas during the festival.

Where do I pick up my full festival pass?

This year, if you purchase a full festival pass, you get a badge to wear. Come to the guest services table in the Hilliard’s Beer Reception Room (upstairs in the Ark Lodge) with your ID during festival hours to pick up your badge.

Do full festival pass holders get special privileges?

Yes! Show your badge to skip the line and walk right in. You also get access to our VIP Lounge in the Hilliard’s Beer Reception Room.

Do you offer group discounts?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer discounted pricing for groups.

How do I buy tickets?

Buy your tickets online from the schedule page of our website. You’ll receive a confirmation email titled “Your order with 2014 Seattle Asian American Film Festival – KEEP THIS EMAIL.” You will need the link from this email to retrieve your purchased tickets at a later date.

The only alternative to online ticket purchase is to visit our guest services table in the Hilliard’s Beer Reception Room (upstairs in the Ark Lodge) during festival hours, at least a half hour before the screening. Some sessions may be sold out. Admission is not guaranteed.

Tickets are not available by phone or fax.

Can I buy tickets from the Ark Lodge box office?

No, the Ark Lodge is not able to sell tickets to SAAFF screenings.

I won a full festival pass in an event raffle. What do I do with it?

Email vanessa@seattleaaff.org to let her know the name of the person who will be using the pass, then visit our guest services table in the Hilliard’s Beer Reception Room (upstairs in the Ark Lodge) with your voucher. It will be exchanged for a full festival badge.

I forgot to bring my print-at-home ticket, what do I do?

Bringing your print-at-home ticket is the most efficient way to get to your screening. If you forget or misplace it and cannot print another one, show your ticket on your smartphone. Lost the confirmation email? Come to guest services and we’ll resend the email.

What do I do if a screening is sold out?

There will be a rush line for sold-out screenings. Arrive at least 20 minutes early and line up at guest services. Admission is NOT guaranteed.

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds or exchanges. If you have made a significant purchase in error, please email vanessa@seattleaaff.org.

How do I look up tickets I purchased so I can print them out at a later date?

When should I arrive for the screening?
